Dr. Grace Paradis

I am a professor of child development at California State University, Stanislaus. I’ve worked with, studied, and taught about children’s development for over 15 years. My areas of interest include parent-child interactions, language development, and media / technology. I’m also a huge advocate for the importance of play for children (and adults!). In my free time, I love playing board games, video games, and cooking.

Charlotte Habecker
Board Member
I am a mom of three amazing, active teenagers. I love gardening, as well as our backyard chickens who regularly tear up my garden. I worked for many years as a science teacher and enjoy hands-on, inquiry-based learning. I believe that kids are natural scientists. I am an advocate for the inclusion of those with special needs, and love Play Adventures for that reason: anyone can play in their own way when given the chance.
