Center Director
I have two children and a husband who are my constant reminder of how incredible life is and how capable I am.
During my leisure time I volunteer to coach soccer locally, lift weights, and tend to my chickens. I love spending time with my family, the outdoors, destruction derbies, reading, and eating.
I started my passion for early childhood development at Merced Community College Child Development Center as an intern. As my journey went as an early educator, I worked at a variety of facilities; private centers, summer camps, Head Start, in home family childcare, and outdoor/forest school program. In each setting I always believed children should be given the opportunity to be outdoors, engage in high-risk opportunities, and have more hands-on experiences. After meeting Naomi and working with Play Adventures I knew I found a space which most represented my beliefs.
I am thrilled to continue Naomi’s work. Play Adventures is a gem I intend to continue so children have a space dedicated to outdoor, self- directed play in nonjudgmental and minimal interference environment.
